He made his All Blacks debut in 2009 and in 2011 was recognised as the Super Rugby Player of the Year earning a recall into the All Blacks squad. He has set - and continued to extend - a new competition record for most Super Rugby appearances, overtaking Keven Mealamu's old record.

Crockett also holds a world record for most consecutive wins in an international side, playing in 48 successful All Blacks Tests. He was part of the All Blacks Rugby World Cup 2015-winning squad.
