Left her hometown at the age of 15 to go learn painting at the Art High School in another town in Romania.
Met Alex Pop in 1998 and they started to work together on many projects (books, theater plays, screenplays). Vanda has played many characters in theater including male characters.She published two books (a poetry volume "Random Joys" with Alex Pop in 2006 and one with her father Gavril Ciuban - "Stratinerii", prose, in 2010).
