Hawkins also works as a screenwriter, editor, colorist, still photographer and occasionally as an energetic on-screen personality. Hawkins founded the film and photography studio, MAMMOTH, in 2010 and has used this platform to represent his work ever since.
Beyond feature films, he and his team produce documentaries, tourism and wildlife videos, TV shows, commercials and photography. Although not a hunter himself, Hawkins is widely acknowledged as dramatically reforming the creative standards of the hunting television industry with the show, Heartland Bowhunter, which he turned into one of the most popular, top-viewed hunting shows on television after his first season.
