Prior to Pax, Johnson produced the CBS hit series, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman starring Jane Seymour. During his 6 year - 100 episode tenure - Johnson also launched Live From The Ranch With Orson Bean, a nationally broadcast CBS Radio program focusing on values in America.
Following Dr. Quinn, he created and produced the hour-long do-cu-drama, Cold Case for CBS. Hosted by Richard Crenna, this reality program was the very first show to integrate television with the Internet.
