He also shot the lead in Dir. Deborah Kampmeier's(Hounddog) movie TAPE opposite Isabelle Fhurman. Tarek voiced two characters(Thumbs up and Fist bump) in the Sony Pictures animated picture THE EMOJI MOVIE also in 2018.

In 2014 Tarek shot the comedy BARELY LETHAL directed by Kyle Newman starring Hailee Steinfeld, Samuel L. Jackson and Jessica Alba before landing the lead role in BERLIN -7, directed by acclaimed Iranian director, Ramtin Lavafipour, Tarek also shot the comedy, ONLY in NEW YORK, opposite Hiam Abbass, which premiered in the, Abu Dhabi International Film Festival and won the "audience award" in Montpellier International Film Festival 2013.
Bishara first gained notice in the Lions Gate sci-if thriller, The FINAL CUT, starring opposite Oscar winners' Robin Williams and Mira Sorvino, alongside Jim Caviezel. The film world premiered at the Berlin Film Festival, followed by a win for "Best Screenplay" at the Deauville International Film Festival.
