From his early childhood on Long Island, New York, Stan Adams knew he wanted to become an actor. His first major role was at the age of 7 when he took center stage as Prince Charming in his elementary school play "Cinderella.

" His interest in acting did not truly manifest itself until one weekend while visiting his grandparents and coming across Saturday Night Live's series of sketches called "Who Shot Buckwheat?" and discovered that Eddie Murphy, the actor that portrayed 'Buckwheat' was from his hometown.

Stan has held leading, supporting and principal roles in several independent films; some of which have been showcased in recognizable film festivals throughout the U.S and received major distribution. In September 2010, Stan was awarded the Lago Award for his antagonist leading role in the independent short film "Forgiveness," which also won the Silver Award for Short Drama at the Jam Fest Indie Film Festival in Hammond, Louisiana.

This film has also been screened at the New Jersey International Film Festival and was an official selection for the New Filmmakers Spring Festival Series in NYC. The independent horror film "What Really Frightens You," has also been screened at the New Jersey film Festival and was shown theatrically as part of the "Horror-thon" last fall at the nationally acclaimed, Movie Palace, Lafayette Theatre in Suffern, NY.

Stan has been featured in television's "All My Children," "CSI: NY," "Law & Order" and appeared in the WNBC: "We're 4 New York" 2007 campaign commercial. Stan held a principal role in the feature film "Carmen G," which premiered in August 2011 at the New York International Latino Film Festival presented by HBO.
