Since ditching a career in business at the age of 30, Parsons has worked in theater, film ("12 Years a Slave," "The Sacrament") and television including "NCIS: NOLA" (CBS), "Blindspot" (NBC), "Person of Interest" (CBS), "Parks and Recreation" (NBC), "Matador" (El Rey), "Conviction" (ABC) and "Torchwood: Miracle Day" (BBC/STARZ) as well as a co-starring turn with Nick Offerman in "The Gunfighter," an internationally acclaimed short film winning multiple awards and translated into six languages.

Additional film credits include the 2016 horror anthology "Holidays" with Seth Green, the 2014 Sundance feature "Song One" with Anne Hathaway, and MGM's 2012 feature "Soldiers of Fortune" with Sean Bean and Christian Slater.
