Sean Cronin was born in West London to an English mother and an Irish/Welsh father but has both Spanish and Sicilian in his bloodline. Destiny struck in the early nineties and Sean was badly bitten by the film bug. Due to his intense and menacing presence Sean was asked to play supporting roles in films like James Bond, The World Is Not Enough (1999), The Mummy (1999), The Mummy Returns (2001), and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002) are just a few. Moving inevitably from the background to the foreground he more recently plays 'Cyrus' in The Thompsons (2012), sequel to the Hollywood Vampire movie The Hamiltons (2006) by the The Butcher Brothers and in Hackney's Finest (2014) 2012 he plays crazy Russian gangster 'Dellski' and The Callback Queen (2013), he plays 'east end' gangster 'Arry' and more recently 'Jacob' in The Brother (2013) and an 'Unknown Agent' in Nhiem Vu Bat Kha Thi: Quoc Gia Bi An (2015) and the lead villain, Kane, in Kill Kane (2016). In parallel because of his love for all things film he became a cinematographer and director in his own right shooting dozens of high end music videos, short films, and several features including Throw of a Dice (2012). Sean also directed the award winning An Unfortunate Woman (2015) and is set to direct the beautiful period drama Irongate and the heart rending semi-biopic life story of disabled Paul Hodgson Give Them Wings. Sean's most prolific directorial exploit is 'Michael' - The Michael Watson Story. Sean has developed his craft both in acting and film making and is well as being an eclectic and talented film maker he is fast becoming one of the most convincing and sinister 'adversary's in modern day cinema.Sean has his own production company 'Magnificent Films'.

2004
Before becoming a professional rugby player, Cronin played minor Gaelic football with Limerick in 2004. He also won a Limerick Senior Football Championship medal with Monaleen in 2005.
2008
Outings for Ireland A and two Celtic League appearances for his home province of Munster saw Cronin attract the attention of Connacht who offered him a full contract in the summer of 2008. In January 2011 it was announced that Cronin would join Leinster Rugby on a 2-year contract for the 2011–12 season, after 3 seasons at Connacht.
2009
Cronin earned his first cap against Fiji in November 2009. His second cap came as a replacement for Rory Best during the Ireland v Wales Six Nations game in March 2010. He won his first start against New Zealand in the 2010 summer tests and also started against Australia.
2018
On the 10th of March 2018 Cronin scored an unlikely try, in Ireland's 28-8 win over Scotland. The win clinched the 2018 Six Nations title for Ireland and is surely a career highlight for all Irish players involved.
