Sabrina Azul, born in San Diego, CA comes from a long lineage of formidable women. The great granddaughter of Eugenia Escudero Lavat (Backhoff), the first woman to be bestowed by Mexico, the honor of carrying her nations flag in the opening ceremony of the 1932 Summer Olympic Games, at the young age of 16.

Eugenia herself, came from a lineage of marksmen, so renowned, that her father received a hand written letter from Maximiliano, the emperor of Mexico in praise of his efforts as Master of Arms for the Mexican Military.

So inspired by her lineage, and their raw passion to live life to the fullest, Sabrina grew up performing in the arts. Sabrina, trained in Ballet, Tap, and Jazz, performed throughout her adolescent years, singing and dancing in regional theater, and used her 12 years of piano training to perform concerts all around the city of San Diego.

Always passionate about the arts, Sabrina took her love of classic films, and decided to leave her successful career in law, and pursue her dream of becoming a screenwriter in Hollywood.Sabrina hit the ground running.

With in a few months of landing in Hollywood, she was asked to co-write a pivotal comedic scene for the D Street Films production of the movie KIDS CAN. Sabrina has also taken her background in the Fitness world, and created a Mini Animated Series called SABRINA SAYS, as a comical parody on "Gym Life" from a female perspective.

Sabrina, playing herself, narrates all her episodes, highlighting "Pet Peeves" that almost every woman encounters while trying to get a productive work out at her local gym. She also utilizes her Voice Over talents as the animated characters "Bella, and Gus" in the feature film KIDS CAN.
