Remo was born in East Switzerland on December 22, 1975. At the age of 20 he began studying acting in Cologne and Zurich. During four years of training Remo confronted himself with all different kinds of acting techniques.
Every single one had its benefit and Remo tried to combine all of them at his point of view.Remo started his acting career with Brecht's play "Señora Carrar's Rifles" and in TV commercials and short movies, Remo took his first steps in front of the camera.
In Fall 2003, the IFS offered Remo to study and train "on camera" with Oscar nominated actor Klaus Maria Brandauer. A new level of deep acting intensity finally opened up. A sort of acting Remo always wanted to reach.
In Eugene O'Neill's "Long Days Journey Into Night", Remo added all his newly learnt acting skills.Shortly after, Remo went on stage in Germany but this time as singer as well. Comedy and singing - a combination he never tried out before, enlarged Remo's stock and he took to it.
In Fall 2005, the newly established Talent Management Star Class took him under contract. Together they founded the independent theatre company "Star Class theatre production" which produced English-speaking plays, performances and showing in-house productions.
At the end of 2006, Remo became member of the Swiss Stage Artist's Association and starred in "Pentagram" an independent feature movie. In the months following he wrote his first audio script "Integration"- a comedy with Remo performing twelve different dialects.
In the following years he devoted himself towards classical stage plays. He co-produced and starred in Arthur Miller's "Death of a Salesman". Followed by his two own produced productions "The Inmate" in 2006 and 2010 and "An evening with.
.." in 2010 under the banner of Star Class theatre productions.Within these years, Remo had been well introduced to the Hollywood film industry through his management and got rave reviews for his acting-monologue as Happy Loman in Arthur Miller's "Death of a Salesman".
In 2008 he was in negotiations to play the Camerlengo part in Ron Howard 'Angels & Demons (2009)In 2009 Clint Eastwood expressed interest in Vinzens playing the part of François Pienaar in the Nelson Mandela Movie, but in the end Matt Damon got the part.
In 2012, Remo and his talent management joined forces to establish the "Swiss Acting Institute". An acting institute for international working actors and independent theatre productions, staged internationally.
He opened the institute with "Long Days Journey Into Night", followed by "Shakespeare's Best" in 2013 and Chekhov's "Ivanov" in 2014.Late 2012 Steven Spielberg wants Vinzens in Lincoln (2012), but due to scheduling conflicts and production delays, the Oscar Winning Movie goes into production without him on board In 2015 Remo starred at the first SAI Members Event in "The Glasmenagerie" written by Tennessee Williams and in 2016 he read Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol.
