Michael Turner is a Newark born filmmaker with a degree in filmmaking form Montclair State University. During his time in the University Michael was chosen to spend time in Shanghai, China as a foreign exchange student to aid in creating a high budget short film.
He is often referred to as a visionary director with bold ambitious ideas. His current career as a director consist of replicating seemingly impossible films with little to no resources. Michael believes that films should be an experience and that a narrative is just another tool in achieving these new experiences.
Some of his main sources of inspiration were Films such as "Waking Life", " Man with A Movie Camera, Sixth Part of The World", Samsara, Baraka, and Phillip K. Dick readings such a "Flow My Tears A Policeman Said".
Throughout his career, Michael also discovered a talent for mixing audio. This allowed himself to lend his knowledge to many other filmmakers to elevate there works to a higher quality. Michael looks to continue the rest of his career with new narrative and observational experiences while lending his audio talents to other filmmakers.
