Mercedes Mason was born on 1983 in Linköping, Sweden, Sweden, is Actress, Producer. Born into a multi-national family, Mercedes Mason moved to the United States from Sweden at the age of 12. At age 13, she was discovered by FORD modeling agency launching her into an international modeling career while attending high school. While studying psychology in college, she booked her first audition opposite Vince Vaughn in 2006's, The Break-Up. After graduating, she starred in Red Sands opposite Shane West and JK Simmons. She then continued the franchise cult favorite Quarantine as the lead in Quarantine 2: Terminal for SONY Screen Gems. Mercedes gained notoriety for her role in the film, Three Veils, getting nominated for 'Best Supporting Actress' by the UK International Filmmaker Festival in 2011. Three Veils went on to win numerous awards including 'Best Feature Film' at ARPA International Film Festival. Mercedes has also been prolific in television, having appeared in critically acclaimed shows like "Entourage", "The Closer" and "Traffic Light" as well as recurring in the fan favorite, "Chuck", amongst others. She was also the lead female in FOX's "Bones" spinoff, "The Finder" opposite Oscar nominated Michael Clark Duncan. She starred in the ABC hit series, "666 Park Ave", with Emmy Award winner Terry O'Quinn and Emmy Nominated Vanessa Williams. In Spring 2014, she debuted her role of DEA Special Agent Talia Del Campo on the CBS series NCIS: Los Angeles, which has since become a recurring role.

In August 2015, Mason debuted in her role as Ofelia Salazar, on the Walking Dead companion series, Fear the Walking Dead.

In addition to English, Mason speaks Swedish, French, Spanish, and Persian. However, on the Swedish talk show Skavlan on September 30, 2016, she declared that she no longer speaks Swedish, but she does still understand it.

Mason was born in Linköping, Sweden, and grew up in the neighborhood of Ryd, Linköping. She moved to the United States with her family at the age of 12. She was raised around the Chicago area. She currently lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband David Denman, whom she married in August 2014. The couple welcomed their first child on 10 January 2018, a son named Caius Kane Denman.
