He worked closely with Diane Paulus (Director of the Tony award-winning musical 'Pippin'), who directed his graduate Acting class's thesis production - a stage adaptation of James Baldwin's novel 'Another Country'.

Maury made his film debut in a short entitled 'Armor', an official selection at the 11th annual Ivy Film Festival. His work was also featured in the psychological drama 'Go North' (2014 Savannah Film Festival official selection).
