In this time he was assigned or attached to Army Special Operations, the JFK Special Warfare Center, USMC Basic Reconnaissance Course, and he finished up his 6 year tour in the reserves with Detachment 219, Naval Special Warfare Group 1 in October of 2004 when he received an Honorable Discharge.
Oddly enough his tour ended while he was in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He also returned from Iraq in April 2005, where he was working as a professional military contractor.
