Marq is also the founder of 'The Sutton Film Festival' which was established in 2002 to showcase short films from new and established directors.As an actor he has appeared in various films including the features 'Incidental Weekend' (2008) and the vampire movie 'Blood + Roses' (2009).
He has provided voice over work for a Doctor Who audio play opposite Peter Davison for BBC licensed Big Finish Productions, played Corgill in the radio pilot 'City of the Saved', radio trails for BBC Worldwide and was part of the Comedy team 'The Nylon Effect' to name but a few.
Marq has also had a life long interest in many aspects of the paranormal including researching crop circles and energy-lines but has a particular fascination with the phenomena of spirits, ghosts and haunting's.
Ever rational in his approach to the subject, he strives to offer alternative explanations for alleged phenomena although very open minded to the possibility of continued consciousness.Along with his team at 'Spiral Paranormal', he produces a series of video episodes and Video Diaries which are available for free download from the Spiral website with selected episodes having been broadcast for 'The Unexplained Channel' on Sky TV.
He has also filmed projects for parapsychologist Dr Ciaran O'Keeffe and Steve Parsons of Para.Science, paranormal historian Richard Felix and event companies such as Compass Paranormal and Fright Nights.
Marq has written for various publications including 'Paranormal Magazine' and writes a regular column for 'Ghost Voices Magazine'. He has been invited to discuss his views on the unexplained for many radio shows including White Noise Radio, Now That's Weird, UKPN Radio and BBC Radio.
He was also the paranormal advisor on the Quay FM Radio show Tuning In back in 2008.In 2011, his first book was published 'Paranormal Surrey' by Amberley Books.
