Mark is a New Zealand-born, Los Angeles-based composer known for his film scores and choral/classical works. He most recently scored Chris Sun's creature feature 'Boar', streaming on the AMC-owned Shudder platform since June 2019.

Mark has three Hollywood Music in Media Award Nominations (2017, 2015, 2013) and twice won Best Score at the Australian Screen Industry Network Awards for 'Charlie's Farm' (2015) and Daddy's Little Girl' (2012).

In 2017 he made his concert conducting debut with the Rousse Philharmonic, Bulgaria, performing 'Fiordland' from 'Flying South'. Earlier that year, the film's score was performed live to picture by the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, who featured on the recording.

Mark joined the CSO onstage, playing ukulele for one of the more rollicking cues.He taught film music for three semesters at UCLA Extension from 2017-2018, and since June 2018 Mark has held a part-time role as COO of the Society of Composers & Lyricists.
