She worked as an Assistant Director for Venezuela's internationally recognized feature films "La Familia" (Cannes Film Festival 2017), "El Amparo" (San Sebastián Film Festival 2016), and "Jazmines en Lidice" (Miami Film Festival 2019) among others.
Her first short film "Salta" (Dive) is a subtle and sensitive coming of age story that premiered at Tribeca Film Festival 2017 and obtained the Jury's Mention for Student Visionary Award. It also won Best Short Film award at the 20th Pink Apple Festival in Switzerland, has been screened in over 15 countries and is available on Amazon Prime Video.
Marianne was one of the the Top 5 finalists of the Chanel and Tribeca Film Institute Program "Through Her Lens" in 2017 and, among Julieta Messmer, she also is one of the hostess of "Sorry Mom Latino", a Spanish speaking podcast about unspeakable stories that mothers would never approve.
Her present projects are: Bendecidas y Afortunadas -a comedy series about two spoiled immigrants who come to the US and try to make it on the Hollywood Film Industry-, Vuela -short film about love in the Venezuelan Diaspora context- and The Canada Diaries -fiction feature about a Venezuelan teenager who goes to Canada for her exchange year.
