"Dusty" Garza is a two time Emmy Award nominated producer who began his career producing television programming directed at young adults while he was a teenager growing up in Texas.His producing credits included hundreds of hours of televised programming in genres spanning everything from educational entertainment for children to sports, news, public affairs programming and documentaries.

More recently Garza has transitioned to the film industry where his producer credits now include 2014's "Enter the Dangerous Mind" and 2015's "Cry Now" and "Road to Juarez". All of his early films have been produced with companies focused on minority-centric content, but Garza does have has several other "message film" projects in development with both top notch and emerging filmmakers in other genres.

Garza's knowledge of the entertainment business is well rounded. In the 90's, Garza was tapped to manage a regional programming team at Charter Communications- a cable TV firm founded by Microsoft's Paul Allen.

He stayed with the firm long enough to see it grow to be the third largest cable television group in the country.Later, Garza became one of the founders of Momentum Talent Agency, a Beverly Hills based spin-off of the Beverly Hecht Talent Agency where he briefly served as the Head of the Motion Picture, Television and Dramatic Rights Division.

In 2012, Garza helped finance and guide the Independent Film Development Corporation, a publicly traded distribution firm (IFLM). He is a founding partner at Siegeler, Corteal, Roberston & Garza, a successful Orange County based Ad Agency that counted Time Warner, Disney, Cox Communications and others among their top clients.

Garza was one only 22 when he was nominated for his first Emmy. This for his work on "L.A. Kids," an educational television series which aired for three seasons.Garza is also the recipient of a prestigious Beacon Award from the National Association of Cable Television Public Affairs.

He also received the National Cable Television Public Affairs Association Award for the Best Public Affairs Program: "After The Firestorm."
