Luke Hulme is a British actor and model, born and raised in Manchester, England. As a child he attended St Bede's College; a Roman Catholic School located in Manchester, where he began his drama training under the watchful eye of acting coach Jane Maguire.
At the tender age of 10, Luke found himself as the lead in a school production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and his passion for acting swiftly followed. Luke continued to undertake acting classes until he was 18, where he developed his acting abilities through a variety of methods and techniques, and participated in as many drama festivals and school productions as possible.
After leaving College, Luke enrolled at Leeds Metropolitan University to study Sport Business Management, and played Rugby Union at an elite level for his University and his County. It wasn't long before Luke realised where his heart truly lay, and began his acting again in a minor role alongside Cillian Murphy and Sam Neill in Peaky Blinders (2013).
The versatile actor steadily began increasing his profile through a variety of short films and minor roles in British TV dramas. Shortly after, Luke made the decision to leave university, and began his training at The Manchester School of Acting under the coaching of Mark Hudson, who has worked extensively in both the UK and the US having taught Screen Acting at RADA, Central, LAMDA and at Juilliard in New York.
From a young age, Luke has always been highly interested in fitness. For years he has trained to achieve a muscular and aesthetically pleasing Physique, and as a result, Luke is an agency represented model.
This soon caught the eye of production bosses at Monkey Kingdom Pictures, and in the summer of 2014 Luke found himself filming in ITVBe's 'The Real Housewives of Cheshire', making his Reality TV debut in January 2015.
In August 2014, Luke went onto earn his first major role in a UK feature film, and was cast in Free to Be based on the critically acclaimed autobiography by Christopher Lee-Power. Luke will be taking on the role of Tom; a strong, alpha-male type character and best friend to the lead role.
Casting director Jane Sanger commended Luke on his audition, stating that from the second he entered the room, he carried himself in such a manner that she knew immediately he was right for the part.In the following months Luke found himself in a few minor roles in BBC, ITV and Channel 4 productions, and focused on his acting training, regularly impressing his coaches at the Manchester School of Acting, and relentlessly pursuing the career he is destined for.
In November 2014, Luke was granted with another opportunity, but this time to make his professional debut in Theatre, and found himself auditioning for a lead role in Belvedere Pashun's 'No Second Bite', who has also written productions such as 'Wag! The Musical' which fell nothing short of hitting the West End.
Luke impressed producers and was offered the role immediately to perform for 8 shows in April 2015 at The Lantern Theatre in Liverpool. Unfortunately, Luke had to pull out from the production shortly after being cast due to personal reasons.
In early December 2014, Luke went on to audition for the lead male in a short film titled "I'm With You" by Sic Infit Productions. After the audition, director Rob Maxwell stated he was very impressed with Luke in the audition, and offered him the role the next day to film in February 2015.
Luke's name was suddenly becoming more popular within the short film industry, and whilst he continued to develop himself as an actor, he found himself being presented with another opportunity to audition for his second UK feature film of the year, A New York Story (08-Jan-2015), and after impressing producer Andy Barclay, and director Ben K.
Dyson, found himself being offered the role of Everard Smyth, a young Member of Parliament with a some what dark and mysterious motive.In just a short space of time in the industry, Luke had monumental success, making his debut in British TV, whilst lining up 3 scheduled films for 2015.
Later that year, Luke's passion for fitness grew. Alongside his acting & modelling career, Luke began to train for his first Bodybuilding competition, where he went onto claim several titles as a Muscle & Fitness Model.
Now, Luke continues to work as an actor & model in the UK, whilst helping 100s of people transform their lives as one of Manchester's leading Body Transformation Coaches.
