Originally from Highland Park, IL, Lisa spent much of her childhood as a competitive figure skater, volleyball player, modern dancer and equestrian. She attended Highland Park High School where she was very involved in theater and dance productions and was the lead singer of a rock band called Stonehenge.

Soon after graduating from the University of Michigan's School of Music, Theatre, and Dance, she made her Broadway debut in the original cast of the Tony winning play Titanic as Madeleine Astor, after her work was spotted in an acting class at Michael Howard Studios in New York.

From there, she made her Off-Broadway debut opposite John Cameron Mitchell and Michael Cerveris as Yitzak in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. She was nominated for a Joseph Jefferson Award in the critically acclaimed production of Violet in the title role and then returned to Broadway in the original cast of The Full Monty as Pam Lukowski opposite Patrick Wilson, directed by Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien.

Dividing her time between New York and Los Angeles, Lisa's critically acclaimed acting work has been seen in numerous films, television shows and stage plays including Elementary on CBS opposite Lucy Liu, Bones on Fox opposite John Boyd, Castle on ABC, the feature films The Perfect Holiday opposite Gabrielle Union, Sponge Bob 2 with Antonio Banderas and as Nan/Lina in the Pulitzer Prize nominated play "Three Days of Rain" opposite Silas Weir Mitchell and Sasha Roiz from "Grimm" on NBC, among others.

Lisa made her directorial debut in front of and behind the camera for the fashion week production "FashioNxt" in 2015, featuring "Grimm" actor Sasha Roiz, "Project Runway" winners, Seth Aaron and Michelle Lesniak and 2015 world champion Portland Timbers soccer players, Liam Ridgewell, Lucas Melano and Jake Gleeson.
