Early in her acting career, Linda landed a role directed by Gillian Armstrong's in Mrs. Soffel opposite Diane Keaton, and Mel Gibson, and a supporting role in Ron Howard's film Gung Ho, opposite Michael Keaton.
Other credits include, The Farrelly Brother's film Kingpin, opposite Bill Murray and Woody Harrelson, and the PBS American Playhouse film Darrow opposite Kevin Spacey, She worked with Martin Scorsese on Goodfellas, and performed opposite Keanu Reeves in The Prince of Pennsylvania.
After seeing Angela Lansbury in the original Broadway production of Sweeney Todd that included her brother Larry, a musician in the orchestra, Linda decided to be an actor. She studied at the Pittsburgh Playhouse under direction of Point Park University where she holds a degree in theater, taught an actors marketing seminar at Carnegie Mellon University, and later took a workshop with the late Martin de Maat, co-founder of Chicago's 'Second City' training center and the rest is history.
Linda's musical talents comes from a family of jazz, blues and pop guitarist who had regular jam sessions in their home in the 60s with the young (now legendary jazz guitarist) Pat Martino, a friend of her dad's.
Her brother taught her how to play the blues harmonica when she was ten, and her mom sang jazz standards.Additional credits include, supporting role in independent film Helen Alone (2014) starring Daniel Baldwin, and recently she worked with Clark Gregg on Trust Me.
Before that, other credits include co-star roles in Comedy Central's Last Laugh, Everybody Hates Chris, and a supporting role in Friendly Fire - a Sean Lennon & Yoko Ono production.
