Born in Shoreham By Sea, West Sussex. Lewis Mckale got into acting from an early age at school and was inspired by his GCSE Drama tutor Jonathan Goodwin to take his training further. He went on to train at Northbrook, where his break performances playing the role of King Lear in William Shakespeare's "King Lear" and the role of Orlando in "As You Like It".
He also discovered his interest for musical theatre when he played the role of Seymour in Little Shop Of Horrors.After graduating from his BA Hons at Brighton University, he then got into acting in front of the camera and has appeared in various short films including "The Games We Play" written by Christopher P.
Taylor and directed by Rhys Bendix Lewis and was screened at the End Of The Pier International Film Festival. He continued to work with Rhys Bendix Lewis again on Lights, Camera Ransom which he also pitched in with the script.
Lewis has also performed at the Brighton Fringe Festival in 2006, 2009, 2010.Away from acting, Lewis Mckale is a singer/songwriter and plays various acoustic gigs and is set to release his debut EP "My Fathers Son" in Winter of 2011.
