Until 1996, she lived with Jennifer Aniston in Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles. They stay friends and she was a bridesmaid at Aniston's 2000 wedding to Brad Pitt.
In 2008, she and Jennifer Aniston formed the production company Echo Films.
Kristin Hahn also has another production company that she created in 2015 named Hahnscape Entertainment.
