Kim Bubbs was born in Oakville, Ontario Canada to an English Canadian father and a French Canadian mother. She has a younger brother. Kim graduated from Ryerson Theatre School and, in a little over a year, was nominated for a Gemini Award (Canada's version of the Emmy Award).
Kim works in English, French and Spanish. She recently completed work on the upcoming Dreamworks animated feature Mr. Peabody and Sherman. She also starred alongside Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Joel Edgerton in the highly anticipated prequel to John Carpenter's 1982 cult classic The Thing (Universal Pictures), as well as appearing in the film On The Road (Official Selection Cannes 2013) by acclaimed director Walter Salles (The Motorcycle Diaries).
Kim also appeared as a series regular in the medical drama Bloodletting and Miraculous Cures, for HBO Canada. Her other professional credits include: Insecurity (CBC), The Foundation (Showcase), Her Only Child (Lifetime USA), Sophie (CBC) and the hit animated series Sailor Moon (UPN).
Kim has also lent her voice to characters in the successful video game series Deus Ex: Human Revolution, Shaun White: Skateboarding and Snowboarding (1&2) and the Assassin's Creed series of games.In French, Kim starred in Francoeur, a television series that aired for four seasons on one of Canada's French language channels, Radio-Canada.
