Ken Collins has a BFA in theatre from Virginia Commonwealth University and has been a screenwriter for twenty years. He has written and developed scripts with Paramount Pictures, and Summit Entertainment as well as smaller independent outfits.

In 2003 Ken won the "action" category in the Fade In Screenwriting Competition. He has since formed his own production company with other writers and producers with the intention of producing independent films.

His first feature "Dead Americans" was completed in 2010.
