In his twenty years in the theater, John has appeared on Broadway, Off-Broadway, and in major regional theaters including the Actors Theatre of Louisville, Syracuse Stage, and the Kennedy Center.

He has been nominated for the prestigious Drama Desk Award for Supporting Actor in a Musical for his portrayal of Tom Sawyer in Big River. As a teacher, John has taught seminars in colleges and universities across the country, and at the nationally renowned Camp Bravo summer workshop in the San Bernardino Mountains.

He has taught the apprentice company at a regional theater and is in his sixth year of teaching at the Barn.
