Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and after surviving a near tragic house fire at the age of 8, Joe Grah spent his childhood roaming the country with his hippie nomadic father. At the age of 11, Grah received his first taste of the entertainment world by starring in the stage presentation of "Cheaper By The Dozen".

After landing in the Central US Grah occupied his teen years with stints as a nationally touring Bicycle Motocross Racer, a semi-professional Skateboarder and then by playing the drums in various punk & hard rock bands including Crime Against Humanity, Morbid Truth & Carnage.

In early 1993, Grah left his drums behind and moved to Dallas, Texas. There he formed and fronted the Alternative rock juggernaut Jibe. The band spent the 1990's/early 2000's touring the country, releasing records and building a loyal underground following.

In 2003, the band scored a number one radio hit with "Yesterday's Gone" from the bands 2003 full length release "Uprising". The band filmed the video for "Yesterday's Gone" on locations in Dallas, TX.

The song "Hypocrite" was also featured on One Tree Hill Episode #1.05 - "Every Night is Another Story".In 2004, Grah relocated to Los Angeles, California and formed the band Loser with Guitarist John 5 (Marilyn Manson).

The band was immediately signed to Island Def-Jam Records. The song "Disposable Sunshine" was featured on the "Fantastic Four" soundtrack. Loser also filmed the video for the song "The First Time" in Los Angeles, California.

The bands first single 'Nobody Knows' landed on rock radio stations across the US.Joe Grah appears as a full page print model for Duarte clothing line in the June 2006 debut issue of 944 Magazine with Bijou Phillips on the cover.

In 2007 Grah formed the band South Of Earth with Guitarist Geno lenardo (Filter). The band filmed the video for the single "God To Get Down" on location at DePauge County Airport in Chicago, Illinois with director Mark Vadik.

Joe Grah appears as model for Sorum-Noce's 2009 debut clothing line.In 2011, Joe Grah has formed a new band and begun recording their debut release at his home studio in Laurel Canyon (Los Angeles). An early version of the track "New Machine" is featured in the upcoming short film release "Best Dramatic Short" directed by James Brown.

Grah also appears in the film.
