Circus giant entered show business in 1914 and was billed variously as The Texas Giant or The World's Largest Man, at eight and one half feet tall Texas Jim often dressed as a cowboy traveled with various circuses, including The Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus for 26 years and spent his time off on his Arkansas Farm.

Starred in one film role as 'you guess it' the Giant in Chester M. Franklin's 'Jack and the Beanstalk' starring Francis Carpenter and Virginia Lee Corbin for the Fox Film Company in 1917. He suffered from diabetes.

Died on his farm in 1958 age 72.
