Jeremy Kotin, a native of Chicago, but living in NYC since graduating from Columbia University with a BA in Film won accolades for his first feature film, Monogamy (Tribeca Film Festival "Best New York Narrative") which he co-produced and co-edited with director Dana Adam Shapiro (Academy Award nominee for Murderball).
Most recently, Jeremy had the distinct pleasure of editing a surprise video directed by Baz Luhrmann for Vogue Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour, featuring Nicole Kidman, Harvey Weinstein, Hillary Clinton, Vera Wang, Oscar de la Renta, and many more.
Also with Baz, Jeremy edited eight short films for the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The films created an imaginary conversation between two fashion designers, Miuccia Prada and the late Elsa Schiaparelli (portrayed in the films by the talented Judy Davis).
The films premiered at the 2012 Met Costume Gala, presided over by Anna Wintour.Jeremy has created and directed media campaigns for the Alzheimer's Association NYC Chapter, Philip Glass: The Glass Center, Coney Island, It Gets Better, and the John Theurer Cancer Center.
He has also produced work for such brands as Samsung, H Stern featuring Katie Holmes, Mountain Dew, Walmart, and Gillette.Jeremy's original focus in film was geared to the music industry where he worked with Grammy Award winning Artists such as Dolly Parton, Carly Simon, , Esperanza Spalding, jazz vocalist Gretchen Parlato, Academy Award winner Jorge Drexler, The Punch Brothers, Rosanne Cash, Emmylou Harris, Madeleine Peyroux, Randy Newman, visual artist Lorna Simpson, director Robert Wilson, opera star Renee Fleming, choreographer Mark Morris, and Tony nominated choreographer Dan Knechtages.
