From 2007 to 2014, he was a video journalist for The New York Times while appearing in small television and movie roles. He has received two Peabody Awards for writing on "Inside Amy Schumer" and "Saturday Night Live," where he worked closely with writer Julio Torres and cast member Vanessa Bayer.
