🌙 Zodiac
Jeff Rector’s zodiac sign is Virgo. According to astrologers, Virgos are always paying attention to the smallest details and their deep sense of humanity makes them one of the most careful signs of the zodiac. Their methodical approach to life ensures that nothing is left to chance, and although they are often tender, their heart might be closed for the outer world. This is a sign often misunderstood, not because they lack the ability to express, but because they won’t accept their feelings as valid, true, or even relevant when opposed to reason. The symbolism behind the name speaks well of their nature, born with a feeling they are experiencing everything for the first time.
🌙 Chinese Zodiac Signs
Jeff Rector was born in the Year of the Dog. Those born under the Chinese Zodiac sign of the Dog are loyal, faithful, honest, distrustful, often guilty of telling white lies, temperamental, prone to mood swings, dogmatic, and sensitive. Dogs excel in business but have trouble finding mates. Compatible with Tiger or Horse.
Jeff was born in St. Louis, Missouri, but actually grew up in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. His family then relocated to Tarzana California where he graduated from Taft High School in the San Fernando Valley.
After graduation, Jeff went to Valley College for a short term and then transferred and graduated from Moorpark College with an Associate of Arts degree. While at Moorpark College, he starred in several of the school plays, learned how to write, edit, direct and produce video productions through the telecommunications department and was a State and National Speech Champion on the schools award-winning intercollegiate speech team.
In addition to working in the industry, Jeff is the President and Festival Director for the Burbank International Film Festival, a non-profit organization that supports, showcases and honors independent filmmaking.
Through his strong ties and community service in the "Media Capitol of the World", Jeff was also elected by the Burbank City Council to serve on the board of the Burbank Cultural Arts Commission.
