Jason Keever is an American film director and screenwriter known for Mediation (2005), The Terminal (2004), The West Wing (2004-2006), and Parenthood (2011). He was born on September 5, 1980, in Rutherfordton, North Carolina, and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2003.
Moving to Los Angeles that summer, Jason immediately began a short film program at Universal Studios, where he wrote, directed and edited three short films. The last of these, "Once Upon a Time In Hollywood," earned him an assistant job on the Steven Spielberg film "The Terminal.
" Working for the next several years as an assistant on different film and television productions, Jason continued to write screenplays. One of these, "Anticipation," was optioned by Alliance Films in 2005.
In 2006, Jason moved to Romania to act as Vice President of International Productions for Chainsaw Europe, a Los Angeles based production company.
