In 1938 she played opposite William Boyd in two Hopalong Cassidy films, the first of which, "Partners of the Plains" offered one of her strongest roles as a domineering English girl named Lorna Drake.
She also performs the song, "Moonlight on the Sunset Trail" within the film. Gwen Gaze appeared in a total of 13 films between the years 1937 and 1943. She was married in Vancouver, Canada, where Gwen had a radio show.
She had two children, Carol and Peter. Gwen died peacefully in Seattle, Washington on August 29th, 2010.
