Garry Pastore was born on December 02, 1961 in  New York City, New York, United States, is Art Department, Actor, Stunts. Garry has well over 50 roles as actor that he has amassed over a 35 year span. He was born in NYC and he began his acting career at the early age of eighteen. His first foray into acting was a High School production of West Side Story and his first film credit was Prizzi's Honor alongside veteran actor, Jack Nicholson in 1985. Garry has most recently co-starred in the Happy Madison Production, The Week Of. Directed by Robert Smigel, starring Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Steve Buscemi and Rachel Dratch which will make it's debut on Netflix in 2018. He also recently co starred in the Indy features, Who's Jenna, Blowtorch, Rob The Mob, The Amazing Spiderman 2, The Dark Knight Rises (SAG Award Nominee), and the hit television series, The Deuce, Gotham, Blue Bloods and Person of Interest. Garry is currently shooting (2018) the 2nd Season of the hugely successful, HBO Series, The Deuce where he portrays real life mobster, Matty "The Horse" Ianniello.In the independent film, DESTRESSED, directed by and starring this veteran actor, Garry portrays himself as a man whose stress levels almost kill him sending him on his worldwide quest for inner peace . On his journey he discovers a little known secret which helps to cure this ailment in this delightful and endearing multiple award winning film. DESTRESSED was written and produced by the actor as well. The film made its world premiere on April 5, 2014 at the GSFF in Atlantic City, New Jersey. It won The Audience Choice Award and Homegrown Documentary Awards. DESTRESSED had a Red Carpet screening at The Golden Door Film Festival on September 19 , 2014 in Jersey City, NJ where it had to screen in two theaters due to it's overwhelming demand and popularity. The film went on to win The Best Documentary Award at the GDFF 2016. In 2017 the film became available on Amazon Prime and has a earned a constant 5 star rating since its release. This achievement opened up new doors for Garry Pastore and Willowcreek Entertainment as Garry co-produced Domenica Scorsese's debut feature film, Almost Paris which has been Official Selection at The Tribeca Film Festival and then went on to Premiere at the Cannes Film Festival 2016.

Pastore wrote the book You're Not in Mom's Kitchen Anymore, published in 1998, with recipes and tips for college students.

2004

For television Pastore has appeared in numerous programs including the series Cosby, 30 Rock, Blue Bloods, and Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Pastore played Jerry Basile of the fictional Mafia Lupertazzi crime family in the HBO series The Sopranos in the "Marco Polo" (2004) episode. Pastore is currently a recurring character in the HBO series The Deuce as real life Genovese Crime Family boss Matthew Ianniello

2009

Pastore made his directorial and producing debut at the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival in 2009 with his film Waiting For... Budd, which garnered eight awards including best Director, best Producer and best film awards. The 30-minute documentary is about a staged reading of On the Waterfront which was originally written by Budd Schulberg and was attended by him the night before his death. The award was presented at the Shrine Auditorium in January 2010. The film also won awards at the Accolade Global Film Competition and the Staten Island Film Festival.

2014

After screenings in the Netherlands and Belgium, hIs film Destressed premiered the Garden State Film Festival at the Trump Taj Mahal, Atlantic City on April 5, 2014, where it won the public's choice "Pick of the Flicks" and jury prizes. It won "best documentary" at the Golden Door Film Festival in September 2014.
