His first appearance in cinema was as the main character of Como un relámpago (1996) where he shared credits with Santiago Ramos and Assumpta Serna, directed by Miguel Hermoso. The surprise came with the Oscar. Since then, his work has multiplied. Cuba (2002), Besos para todos (2000), Aunque tú no lo sepas (2000) and Juana la Loca (2001) (still in production) are the titles that take his name in 2000. It is Besos para todos (2000) his last great success. Next to Emma Suárez, he stars as a student that discovers the mysteries of love and sex in a grey and multicolored Spain in the 1960s. These lines only describe the beginning of a promising career.
