He has taught at the University of Maine, University of New Mexico, and Trinidad State Junior College in Colorado. He has produced silent-film restorations for DVD, including The Restless Sex (1920), For Better, for Worse (1919), Beauty's Worth (1922), April Folly (1920), Buried Treasure (1921), On Dangerous Ground (1917),Ducks and Drakes (1921), The Bride's Play (1922), and Enchantment (1921).
The latter three films have been broadcast on Turner Classic Movies. He has also authored the book "The Silent Films of Marion Davies."
