Edward Lorusso is a writer, producer, composer, and film historian. He graduated from the University of Maine at Orono with B.A. and M.A. degrees in English. He earned his Ph.D. in Modern American and British Literature from the University of New Mexico.
He has taught at the University of Maine, University of New Mexico, and Trinidad State Junior College in Colorado. He has produced silent-film restorations for DVD, including The Restless Sex (1920), For Better, for Worse (1919), Beauty's Worth (1922), April Folly (1920), Buried Treasure (1921), On Dangerous Ground (1917),Ducks and Drakes (1921), The Bride's Play (1922), and Enchantment (1921).
