Despite being an LMP1 rookie, Bamber, along with his teammates Nick Tandy and Nico Hülkenberg, won the 2015 24 Hours of Le Mans. After being denied a seat in the 2016 race, Bamber will replace Mark Webber for the 2017 season, racing alongside Timo Bernhard and Brendon Hartley.
