Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, he lives now in Columbus, Ohio. His stage credits include Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts Broadway Bound Program's Production of Hairspray: The Musical as Edna Turnblad (August, 2013) .
Since then he was both in TDCH's Production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella as The King (December, 2014). As well as TDCH's Production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol as Jacob Marley (December, 2015).
After his 2 year break from Theatre to focus on his Film & TV career, he came back to join Ovation! Performing Arts' Production of Josh MacDonald's Halo as Jacob Marley (April, 2017). Since his graduation from Seneca College, Divan has moved to Columbus, Ohio in September of 2019 to be closer to his family.
As well as to further develop his career in the US, making his US stage debut in Out of the Box Community Theatre's Production of Patrick Hamilton's Angel Street as Inspector Rough (October, 2019).
