S., Japan, & Australia. She went on to costume design for bands and musicians, independent films, music videos, and theater productions in NYC including two theater companies she co-founded. Desira joined the Screen Actors Guild in 2009 and has worked as an actor, body double, and stunt performer in television, film, and theater including Boardwalk Empire and as the lead in the indie feature Red Pearl.
