🌙 Zodiac
Danny Camp’s zodiac sign is Aries. According to astrologers, the presence of Aries always marks the beginning of something energetic and turbulent. They are continuously looking for dynamic, speed and competition, always being the first in everything - from work to social gatherings. Thanks to its ruling planet Mars and the fact it belongs to the element of Fire (just like Leo and Sagittarius), Aries is one of the most active zodiac signs. It is in their nature to take action, sometimes before they think about it well.
🌙 Chinese Zodiac Signs
Danny Camp was born in the Year of the Monkey. Those born under the Chinese Zodiac sign of the Monkey thrive on having fun. They’re energetic, upbeat, and good at listening but lack self-control. They like being active and stimulated and enjoy pleasing self before pleasing others. They’re heart-breakers, not good at long-term relationships, morals are weak. Compatible with Rat or Dragon.
Danny was born and raised in Shreveport, Louisiana but now resides in Texas. He has also lived in Arkansas, Arizona, and California. Both his parents had a love of the arts--his mother a painter and father a songwriter and musician.
His love of the ocean and adventure sparked his interest to join the U.S. Coast Guard (1989-1993) where he was stationed in California. During his time in California he was first exposed to the entertainment industry which created a lifelong interest in acting.
After Danny left the military, he moved back to Louisiana to help with the family business. He continued his role in public service as a police officer with the Bossier City Police Department (2002-2008) until he left to help manage the family business.
Danny completed his bachelor's degree at Louisiana Tech University in 2008. His passion is in acting. However, he is also an accomplished songwriter, singer, and musician. He released a country music CD (This Train Is Movin') in December of 2013.
In the spring of 2014 he released a music video to accompany his song Singin' For My Whiskey from the This Train is Movin' project. Danny believes his previous experiences with people from many backgrounds gives him insight into many different personalities, behaviors, and reactions to life circumstances on which he can draw from in his acting roles.
Danny started his acting career as a background extra in Dallas, Texas in March of 2017 with a well-respected production company where he had multiple background roles. One of the roles provided an opportunity to use his previous experience as a police officer.
Soon after those roles, Danny was selected as a featured extra in a mini-series. This role required Danny to express deep emotions and allowed him to draw from his prior military experience. Fortunately Danny is at a point in his personal and professional life to now focus on his dream of pursuing acting full time.
On a personal level, Danny loves any type of adventure. He loves to ride his Harley, drive fast cars, skydive, and any other thrill-related activity. To relax, Danny loves to spend time at the beach enjoying the beauty and sounds of the ocean.
His dry wit and light-hearted interactions with others is an interesting contrast to his serious approach to acting. Danny understands that the entertainment industry is complex which is why he studies hard, seeks to learn something new from every opportunity, and dedicates himself to pursuing excellence in each role.
He is always the first to be on set and the last to leave. He believes that God, family, and friends are the most important things in life.
