Danina Moguel was born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, to a Mexican father (diplomat) and a Serbian mother (Yugoslavian folkloric dancer). She lived and was educated in many countries including Mexico, United States, Jamaica, Serbia and Hungary.
She speaks fluent Spanish, English, French and Serbian. She began her acting career at the age of four, filming numerous commercials for Mexican television. At the age of 19 she left on her own to study in California, where she graduated at California State University Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts in 2008.
