His episode featuring Natalie Portman remains one of Funny or Die's all-time most-viewed videos, with over 10 million views to date and counting.Daniel followed this success with a number of directing gigs: more classic "Ferns" episodes (with Jon Hamm, Bradley Cooper, and Ben Stiller), a wildly popular star-studded music video for Funny or Die that he also co-wrote ("The Ballad of G.

I. Joe"), a web series for Ben Stiller's Red Hour Films ("Stiller & Meara"), and producing and directing a ten-episode docu-reality comedy series for IFC ("Commercial Kings"). He even found the time to get involved in the world of video games, writing "Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions" for Activision and lending his baritone to the main character Gideon in Magic: The Gathering's "Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012.
