She was the first female winner since the television competition's inception in 2006. She is signed with MediaCorp. Her debut album Bonnie was released in October 2014.
Before Fame
Since the age of five, she had competed in over 300 singing competitions in her area. She began taking singing lessons at the age of ten. She attended Riverside Secondary School in Singapore. Despite winning the competition and receiving a management contract through MediaCorp, she wanted to finish her studies before pursuing music full-time.
