Areg Gevorgyan (born April 12, 1994, Yerevan, Armenia) is a film actor. However, his debut came from the stage of National Academic Theatre, in the play "The forty days of Musa Dagh" directed by Armen Elbakyan back in 2009.
In 2012 he got accepted to Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinematography's acting/directing class, under the guidance of Vigen Chaldranyan. While studying he participated in several student plays and films, also did voice acting of movies mostly for Public Television of Armenia.
In 2014 he took the stage once again, it was Shakespeare's "Hamlet" directed by Vigen Chaldranyan. As a student Areg also played in Vigen Chaldranyan's 2016 film "Alter Ego". His professional acting debut was the short film "Christmas Roast" by Alexander Baghdasaryan in 2019.
