Notable recent New York and Regional Theatre performances in his long stage career include: the Fool in King Lear, Polonius in Hamlet, Charlie in the award-winning 30th Anniversary revival of The Foreigner, Vanya in Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike, Jim Casy in The Grapes of Wrath, Clown (15 roles) in The 39 Steps, Vladimir in Waiting for Godot, all 35 roles in I Am My Own Wife, Bazzard in The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and the mysterious Eric Finch in the national tour of the stage version of the classic TV series Cheers.
He began performing small roles in TV and Film in 2011. His breakthrough came in 2017 when he made his first appearance as Mr. Penn, Penguin's right-hand man in the Season 4 premiere of Fox's hit Batman prequel drama Gotham.
His character and performance proved so popular with fans that he became a recurring guest star, appearing in a total of 10 episodes across Seasons 4 and 5. In his last episode of Season 5, Mr. Penn transformed into classic DC Comics villains The Ventriloquist and his murderous dummy, Scarface.
