Andrea Adler is an American writer, director, actor and producer known for her award-winning novel Pushing Upward. Andrea also wrote the screenplay with Gerald DiPego.As an actress, Andrea appeared in Neil Simon's Chapter Two on Broadway in the starring role of Jennie Malone, directed by Herbert Ross.

She also starred in Uncle Vania, The Good Doctor, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof at UCLA and in Lovers and Other Strangers at the Pasadena Playhouse. Andrea was a member of Café La Mama and the improvisational theater company, The Groundlings and co-starred in the TV shows: Police Woman, The Bob Newhart Show, Executive Suite, Steubenville, and Bronx.

Andrea founded and directed The Off Off Main Street Children's Theater Company, dedicated to works by, for, and about teenagers and the challenges they face, which ran successfully for eight years. She also presented theatrical programs to drug and alcohol facilities, to formally incarcerated men and women at the Foundation Center in Harlem, and to women and teenagers-in-crises at shelters throughout New York State.

She also taught improvisational theater to children of major stars performing in Las Vegas, and at the Comedy Store in L.A.Adler co-wrote, directed & produced "Old-Fashioned, Naughty, Everything: A Glimpse of Emily Dickinson," a one-woman show based exclusively on Emily's poetry and letters, performed at the Marsh Theater in San Francisco, and co-wrote and directed 3 videos for the American Film Institute.

Andrea pioneered Holistic/Spiritual Marketing in the early 80's, and became international speaker, workshop presenter, author and consultant. She has toured the globe presenting her workshop, The Tao of Marketing, and wrote over 50 articles on marketing, translated into five languages.

She co-wrote and developed Spanda Cards for the Entrepreneurial Spirit, the first desk-top oracle to bridge ancient wisdom and business acumen (published by Beyond Words). Her three books on Holistic Marketing: PR for the Holistic Healer, Creating an Abundant Practice, and the winner of the Axiom Business Book Award, The Science of Spiritual Marketing: Initiation into Magnetism sell worldwide.
