The show aired weekly on Rogers Television in the 2004-2005 season. She earned the Donna Murdie Award for "outstanding women in the media" at the 2005 Spirit Of The Capital Youth Awards.Amy moved to New York City in 2006 as one of the youngest accepted students at Circle in the Square Theatre School.
After graduation she landed a role in the Moran Bros. feature film "Listen To Your Heart" alongside Cybill Shepherd. "Listen To Your Heart" has won a number of awards at film festivals across the country including Best Picture, Audience Choice, and Best Actress.
Amy began writing comedic songs to entertain her friends and was encouraged to perform them in public. After hitting up a few open-mics she was asked by management at one venue to cut her most requested (and most R-rated) song from her set.
Refusing to drop the song, Amy switched gears and started performing her songs at comedy clubs around NYC.Now a regular on the New York comedy scene, her songs have been featured on CBS Radio's "Rock Chicks Live!", and she was hired to write a song for Discovery Hill Productions' documentary "The Global Village Project" 2011, narrated by Matthew Lillard.
Amy continues to make short films and music videos, many of which can be viewed on Youtube. She can also be seen in a number of national commercials.
