She started doing theatre in middle school (which completely surprised her parents since she was shy) and continued throughout high school and college.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English at Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan. After college she started working in short films and TV as an extra. After taking a year to participate in a leadership/discipleship program in Texas, she got a part time job as an intern for 5th and 6th graders at her church.
After a year, she decided that full time ministry was not her passion. She finished her internship and started pursuing acting full time. She works as a production assistant and barista while pursuing her goal of becoming a working actor.
