Aldis Hodge was born on September 20, 1986 in  Onslow County, North Carolina, United States, is Actor, Miscellaneous Crew. Aldis Hodge is best known for his role as 'Alec Hardison' on TNT's highly rated television series, "Leverage" which nabbed a People's Choice Award in 2013. He can be seen in the Amazon pilot, "The After" from "X-Files" creator Chris Carter in addition to his recurring role on AMC's "Turn: Washington's Spies."Aldis Hodge can be seen starring opposite Tom Cruise and Cobie Smuthers in "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back" from Paramount Pictures. Aldis can also be seen in the highly-anticipated, Twentieth Century Fox feature, "Hidden Figures" opposite Taraji Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Janelle Monáe which is based on the true-life story of the first African American women to work as engineers for NASA in the 1960's. Many will recognize Hodge from his starring roles in the Universal feature, "Straight Outta Compton" opposite Paul Giamatti and O'Shea Jackson Jr and the Fox Searchlight eco-terrorism thriller, "The East," co-starring Alexander Skarsgard, Ellen Page, Patricia Clarkson and Brit Marling. Hodge has also appeared in both Twentieth Century Fox's "Die Hard with a Vengeance" and "A Good Day to Die Hard," the third and fifth installments of the Die Hard franchise.Hodge started his career at the age of three when he booked a print job for Essence magazine with his brother Edwin Hodge (The Purge, The Purge: Anarchy, Red Dawn,"Chicago Fire"). He continued to work as a model for print ads and commercials until he made the transition to television when he and his brother were cast on "Sesame Street" and later on stage when they joined the Tony-winning revival of "Showboat" on Broadway. During that period, he also appeared in several movies including Die Hard with a Vengeance, Bed of Roses, The Stone House, Edmond, The Lady Killers and Big Momma's House.Hodge's television roles include the critically acclaimed series "Friday Night Lights," "Supernatural," "The Walking Dead," "Girlfriends," "American Dreams," "City of Angels," "Bones," "CSI," "ER," "Cold Case," "Charmed" and "Boston Public."Hodge was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and raised in New York.
